 | #1 TIP: DO NOT FORGET THE VIEWFINDER CAP!
Haha, I have alot of ruined IR shots by VF light leaks because I always keep forgetting to place the cap. >__< |
 | hey... fantastic series here n_n
meron kang standard or criteria dito kung aling pics ang iba-black and white? |
 | Hey! thanks a lot! I don't really set any criteria to which photos to convert to b&w... I just look at every photos and see which one's better when it's in b&w. Usually I chose the ones with more dramatic feeling, extreme details, and have good contrasts and feel. Most of the time, by just looking at my subject I knew right there and then that the photo has to be in b&w. There are instances that I spend a lot of time thinking and deciding if I should convert the image to b&w. But as always, I'm in love with b&w photos... it's truly timeless. ;) |
 | ayt. well said.hehe
any favorite photos (by any fotog) shot in glorious black and white? |
 | cool!
what I have is Time's "Images That Define The 20th Century" that featured Albert Garcia's stunning Pinatubo shot. Included in the book is perhaps my favorite black and white photo: a mother bathing her deformed child brought by mercury poisoning in minimata, japan.
it's a delicate show of love and at the same time powerful without being grotesque.
hey, i really like your 4746_2 image. |
 | oh, i havent checked that out yet. Since you've mentioned it... I'll find a copy of it soon. That 4746_2 photo is also one of my faves! ;) |
